Final Fantasy Resonance’s director says the upcoming throwback JRPG is part of a “resurgence” of turn-based games, though one that still has plenty of fresh ideas.

Wrapping up a chat with RPG Site at PAX, director Hiroto Furuya says we’re in the middle of a “resurgence of turn-based RPGs and JRPGs” – which sounds pretty darn good to me.
