Curry Barker‘s Obsession was one of this year’s hottest horror films. Nathan Fielder‘s Elizabeth Holmes documentary, You Can See Everything, is what everyone is talking about right now. And if we’re lucky, the two filmmakers could eventually combine their talents.

During a chat with Variety at the Time100 Next Gala at Pier59 Studios, Barker was asked what he thought of Fielder’s film. “I thought it was freakin’ insane and awesome. I didn’t know much about [Elizabeth Holmes’] story going into it. I feel like I missed certain tiny things, but it was three hours long and I wished it was longer. That’s rare, you know?”

That is rare. It’s how I felt about both Obsession and You Can See Everything. Two films I simply cannot stop thinking about.

The outlet then asked Barker if he wanted to work with Fielder, to which he replied, “I told him that. I said, ‘Hey!’ … I just put it out in the water.”

You Can See Everything

Obviously, that doesn’t mean anything is imminent. Or that it will ever happen at all. But the mere thought of Barker and Fielder somehow combining their gifts to make a (hopefully horror) film…that’s too exciting not to consider.

Both Obsession and You Can See Everything are unique. Both have surprised audiences, shocked them, and left them reeling. Imagine what they could come up with if they put their minds together. Hell, each has experience on screen as well, so even that would be cool: to see Barker show up in Fielder’s work, or vice versa.

Whatever the case, I think this sounds like a great idea. You could say I’m obsessed, and I want to see everything Barker and Fielder could accomplish in a movie together.

Make it happen, universe. I don’t want to have to One Wish Willow this thing.
