The Death Angels are getting cards. Spin Master has brought Paramount Pictures into Hellbreak, the horror trading card game it is building with Ghost Galaxy, adding the creatures from A Quiet Place, the Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow and the entity from Smile.

Those three titles join a launch set that runs more than 200 cards across seven properties, so Paramount’s monsters arrive in the first wave rather than waiting for an expansion.

Dracula, Jaws and Jason Are Already In

Universal’s monsters led the game’s first reveals, with Dracula, the Bride of Frankenstein and Jaws already revealed by the time Blumhouse, AMC Global Media and Lionsgate signed on over the summer. Jason Voorhees followed at Gen Con. Each player takes a monster as a leader, builds resources and deploys minions, and whoever brings down the opposing monster first wins.

Doug Wadleigh, Spin Master’s President of Toys, said Paramount’s “deep catalogue of terrifying monsters will elevate the gameplay experience.”

The Set Reaches Shops in January 2027

The debut set, Dawn of Terror, goes out to game and hobby shops and to Amazon in January 2027. Characters from AMC, Blumhouse and Lionsgate are set for later expansions, which is where the Saw and Walking Dead rights land.

Shops can run demo nights ahead of that date using pre-launch kits built around Jaws and Dracula learn-to-play decks.
