SNL is about to get real freaky this Halloween.
That’s because Inde Navarratte, star of this year’s hit horror film, Obsession, is set to host the long-running comedy program on October 31st!
Yes, live from New York, Navarrette will bring her talents to the series created by Lorne Michaels way back in 1975.
Navarrette took to IG to make the announcement, saying, “See you Goblins and Ghouls live from New York on 10/31. Thank you, SNL!“
I can’t help but be thrilled for the actor. Hosting SNL is no small deal, and on Halloween, no less. And that’s just the topper on a year that has seen Navarrette star in one of the most successful horror films of the decade, as well as nabbing a role as Rogue in Marvel’s upcoming X-Men movie. It’s the sort of year some would ask a One-Wish-Willow for.
Of course, I’d put money on an appearance from Navarrette as Obsession‘s “Freaky Nikki” in a skit or two. And if you’ve watched any of Navarrette’s videos, it’s clear she has a fun playfulness that should lend itself well to the humor of SNL.
Either way, this goblin/ghoul will be tuning in.
