Fairy tales are about to get a whole lot more terrifying.
Ahead of its theatrical release this September, we are excited to share an exclusive clip from Ever After, the upcoming horror film that takes familiar fairy-tale imagery and transforms it into the stuff of nightmares.
Written and directed by Laszlo Illes, Ever After follows a group of friends whose bachelorette weekend at a secluded forest lodge takes a horrifying turn. They soon discover that the surrounding woods are inhabited by murderous fanatics who believe themselves to be the heroes and villains of childhood fairy tales. What begins as a weekend getaway quickly becomes a fight for survival.
Adding even more horror credibility to the film is a cast packed with genre veterans. Ever After stars Mark Sheppard, Bonnie Aarons, Michael Berryman, Kane Hodder, and Malcolm McDowell, bringing together several instantly recognizable faces from across horror and genre cinema.
The film is produced by Intergalactic Pictures, McClurg Productions, Harambee Grey-Sun Productions, Stag Mountain Films, and Avali Productions.
Level 33 Entertainment acquired Ever After for an exclusive U.S. and Canadian theatrical release. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters across the United States and Canada on September 4, 2026, ahead of a planned worldwide rollout.
