The good times keep on rolling for Chase, because we’ve just learned he will now take on the horror film Sleepover for Blumhouse Atomic Monster and Universal.
The move comes after Insidious: Out of the Further registered the highest Rotten Tomatoes score of the previous entries in the franchise.
While we don’t currently have any plot details, the film is described as the “quintessential sleepover nightmare”.
Chase will direct from a screenplay he co-wrote with Bryce McGuire (Night Swim).
Jason Blum is producing. Chase, McGuire, and Bea Sequeira serve as executive producers, with Lilly Tyson overseeing the project for the company.
Sleepover is a Cinescape Entertainment production, presented by Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Atomic Monster.
Spend a night with Sleepover when the film releases in theaters on October 8th, 2027.
