Every time I sit down with a movie from Australian filmmaker Alice Maio Mackay (T-Blockers), I know I’m getting at least three things: neon-soaked atmosphere, punk rock horror, and queer characters that kick major ass. Mackay’s latest feature, sci-fi aliens attack film, Our Effed Up World, appears to have all that and slimy-looking aliens. Yes, it looks like a blast.
