They just… tweeted it out. After months of silence, Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the pre-order date for Grand Theft Auto VI , seemingly confirming beyond any reasonable doubt that the game will indeed officially launch November 19, 2026.
Over on X, Rockstar Games revealed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers. They also gave us our first look at the game’s cover.
Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive promised GTA 6 marketing would finally begin properly this Summer, and it seems like they were true to their word. There’s still nothing to report as far as a third full trailer goes, but I’d be amazed if we didn’t get a new look at gameplay on or before June 25. In the meantime, you can take a look at the brand-new teaser trailer, which also shows off the game’s cover. You can find it below.
