“The Devil We Know”

With two losses under their belt, the Avengers have struck a deal with several high-target villains who also wish to end Doom’s reign. Have the Earth’s mightiest defenders gained new allies in the fight against a United Latveria, or placed the last nail in their coffins? It’s go time!

As the Avengers carry out their multi pronged assault, an ancient evil, even more powerful than Lilith – the mother of all demons, has discovered a backdoor into the primary dimension of Earth. Well, more like a raised portcullis and lowered drawbridge. Sorcerer Supreme mission statement one, Doctor Doom zero. Game set and match!

Can Earth’s most notorious supervillains behave themselves long enough to see victory over Emperor Doom? Will the streets of New York City survive the mass prison breakout at the Raft? What dark entity is about to eat Doctor Doom’s lunch? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

Arcade has a marble bag made out of solid Vibranium in issue #03 of One World Under Doom. Poor Thor, words do hurt! Thanks to the Asgardian gods that Tony Stark is quite the wordsmith himself. Go get them, tiger!

I don’t want to ruin any of the reveals here, so I will just say this was a really fun issue. The only criticism I have is that this issue was way too short. Come on Marvel, at least give us a full issue with the hero/villain team up. I kind of feel bad for the bad guys. This is a five-star comic all the way to the Dark Dimension. Oops, did I just reveal something?
