Hrishikesh Hirway’s long-running music podcast Song Exploder has been picked up by Netflix for a new series, also called Song Exploder. The show’s premise is based upon the podcast, which originally debuted in 2014 and focuses on notable musicians breaking down different aspects of one of their songs. Featured guests for the first season include Alicia Keys, Ty Dolla $ign, Michael Stipe (breaking down the R.E.M. hit “Losing My Religion”) and Lin Manuel Miranda.
