Last week Keith David showed off an early preview of his NECA Retro Frank Armitage figure from They Live! So far for the They Live license, NECA has released a Retro Alien two-pack and we know a figure of John Nada is on the way and will be released later this year.
Then just yesterday Shout Factory has opened up pre-orders for their exclusive Frank Armitage 8″ Scale Retro Clothed Figure from the movie They Live. The figure is available as a stand-alone release, or as a bundle with the film, which is great if you’ve already got the film as it has multiple releases at this point. The Frank figure features the likeness of actor Keith David and I have to say it’s absolutely fantastic and looks exactly how he did in the film and they captured his smile perfectly I am very impressed with the likeness to Keith David on this figure. I have to say I think it’s their best likeness on a Retro figure to date.
The figure comes wearing a fabric outfit, a pair of sunglasses, and a submachine gun, and a rifle. It’s limited to just 4,000 pieces and is priced at $39.99 for the stand-alone figure. As I’m a big fan of They Live! and Keith David I would love to get this figure but I am not too sure if I would be able to get this as I am based in the UK and it may be pretty pricey to ship, I can only hope for a two-pack release down the line with John Nada that would be pretty sweet!
