Michael Ilesanmi and Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? are always challenged by one or the other obstacle. Now, it looks like Michael would not be able to join his American wife in the States for two reasons.

Angela and Michael share a turbulent relationship on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? They have 23 years of the age gap, which often creates problems like possessiveness and insecurities between them. The Georgia native feels jealous when her Nigerian beau is anywhere around younger women. Therefore, since she has arrived in Nigeria, she has been fighting with her fiancé over petty issues and called off the wedding several times. In the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, she decided to have a joint bachelor and bachelorette party with the groom because she can’t trust him if he’s alone with his friends. So Michael, his friends, the bride-to-be, and her sissy, Jojo, have a bachelor(ette) party at a strip club. Still, after so many ups and downs, the 90 Day Fiancé couple stayed together and tied the knot in January 2020. But since then, they have been living apart. Cheat Sheet reports that the 54-year-old American is back in her home country, but Michael is still in Nigeria. The couple has been living in different countries for the last eight months. And looking at current circumstances, it seems like it would be pretty difficult for the 31-year-old Nigerian to reunite with his wife in the States anytime soon. Due to the current coronavirus situation, the immigration services in America have been temporarily closed down. So the process of spousal visas would probably be delayed by months.

And it’s also possible that the couple’s application won’t be accepted at all. President Donald Trump has expanded the travel ban in six new countries in February, which also includes Nigeria. This restriction will not allow anyone from Nigeria to immigrate to the states permanently. So, it isn’t possible for Michael to get a spousal visa amid the coronavirus pandemic and even after that.

Earlier, he has already been denied the K-1 visa, and that’s why Angie had to travel to his fiancé’s country and get married there. Sadly, the newlywed couple would have to wait some more time to be reunited. If the restriction doesn’t lift anytime soon, then the married couple would have to leave apart. Angela has already established that she would never leave her life in America and relocate to Nigeria.
