Heroes & Villains (HV), the premiere collector-forward lifestyle brand from global pop culture merchandiser Bioworld Merchandising, announced today its first-ever appearance at MagicCon: Atlanta will be kicking off with a Van Tour. Before arriving at the convention, the brand-new Heroes & Villains van will hold a pop-up event in Ridgeland, MS with giveaways, Magic: The Gathering (MTG) play, photo ops and more. While on tour, live updates will be provided of their adventure and reveal upcoming exclusives that can be purchased at MagicCon: Atlanta.
This custom Heroes & Villains van departs from the Dallas headquarters Thursday, November 5 and will stop at DogMud Tavern in Ridgeland, MS for a special pop-up event on Friday, November 6 from 6pm–10pm CT. Fans of Magic: The Gathering, the iconic trading card game from Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast division, can receive an exclusive free Magic: The Gathering branded tee while supplies last, play Magic: The Gathering, and get a photo op with the mythically rare custom designed van.
“Showing up at MagicCon for the first time is a big moment for us, and we didn’t want fans to wait until the doors open to be part of it,” said Jennifer Staley, Senior Vice President of Licensing at Bioworld. “The Heroes & Villains MagicCon Van turns the trip into the event. Whether you catch us at the pop-up or find the van on the show floor, come play, grab a shirt, and hang out with the team.”
This tour was built around one idea: let the fans ride along. From the moment the van leaves Dallas, Heroes & Villains will share the journey on their social channels in real time, giving the community a front-row seat to every mile, every stop, and every reveal on the way to Atlanta.
At MagicCon: Atlanta, the van will be parked on the show floor and will feature exclusive products sold at the Booth # 3071. Some key items include a limited edition “ConQuest” van tee, a retro embroidered varsity jacket (sure to be a fan favorite), two new gamer bag silhouettes perfect for Magic fans, four custom hand-drawn psychedelic poster themed tees, and so much more.
