A remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2. It will be released as a free upgrade for “all Witcher 3 owners” on 29th September 2026, including Switch 2 owners who own the original Switch version. The remaster includes upgraded visuals, enhanced combat, new Witcher Signs FX, revamped mount handling, enhanced monster behaviors, a skill tree revamp, transmogrification, expanded photo mode, and more, alongside the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
The upcoming “Song of the Past” Expansion Pack will also be releasing for the Nintendo Switch 2 remaster.
