Adult DVD have announced their self-titled debut album and shared a new single, ‘Cowboy On Aisle Three’. Listen below.

The rising Leeds dance-punk band will release the 12-track record on September 25 via Fat Possum Records, following on from their EPs ‘Fountain Of Youth’ (2023) and ‘Next Day Shipping’ (2024). Pre-order/pre-save here.
“We are so very proud of it and can’t wait for you to hear it in its entirety,” Adult DVD wrote on social media.
Their latest single, ‘Cowboy On Aisle Three’, is a gritty party anthem that sees the group face up to an existential crisis.
“I came up with the idea when I was in Lidl,” explained frontman Harry Hanson of the tune. “I’m sure everyone has thought, ‘Imagine if I just went nuts now’, to get out of doing the big shop.”
The song is accompanied by a black-and-white official music video, shot at the New Burley Club in Leeds. Written and directed by Adult DVD’s own Greg Lonsdale Danny Blackburn, the clip takes us to ‘Lee’s Wild West Night’ where the band perform in cowboy get-ups. We also see a crowd cheers on numerous attempts to ride a bucking bronco.
The forthcoming ‘Adult DVD’ is said to contain “witty observational songwriting based in real-life characters and a pulsating synth-punk sound perfect for both the rave and the mosh pit”.
“Fusing together an intense musical workout with depictions of a motley crew of figures ranging from 5G conspiracy theorists to an existential cowboy, ‘Adult DVD’ is the electrifying sound of a band exceeding their own expectations while going just as hard, if not harder than their adrenaline-fuelled live shows,” the description adds.
The LP will also feature Adult DVD’s previous single ‘Real Tree Lee’.

Adult DVD were named as one of NME‘s top 10 shows at The Great Escape 2026 last month. “We’re here for a good time, not a long time, and there’s no better Friday night soundtrack for that mantra than the dance-punk of Leeds party-starting sextet Adult DVD – even as we stand on tippy-toes to peek inside the rammed tent,” the review read.
“From the playful electro of ‘Dogs In The Sun’ to the industrial menace of ‘Real Tree Lee’ and the euphoric wig-out tribute to the screen icon ‘Bill Murray’, the Yorkshire lads sound like Working Men’s Club on a pinger or Fat Dog at the disco as they bring humour, hedonism and a heady performance worthy of the top shelf their name suggests. A proper must-see.”
