I’m guessing some of you may not be aware of Riley Dandy, but she’s awesome. I first caught her in Joe Begos’ holiday horror pic, Christmas Bloody Christmas (pictured above), a Terminator-style thrill-ride in which Dandy Sarah Connors her way through a killer robotic Santa. Bloody blast of a movie, made even better by Dandy’s kickass performance. Deadline reports that the actress is once again stepping into the genre world with engagement party thriller, Cut Your Teeth.
Alongside Dandy, Arthur Langlie (A Complete Unknown), Oliver Stark (Underworld: Blood Wars), and Madeline Weinstein (Mary Page Marlowe) have also been cast in the project.
Cut Your Teeth “follows an engagement party weekend that spirals out of control after a secret betrayal fragments a tight-knit friend group”.
The film marks the feature directorial debut of Samuel Goodwin.
Also fun? Aaron Moorhead (Spring) is producing the project. Producing alongside Moorhead are Briana Frapart, John Iadarola, and Ashley James.
Cut Your Teeth began filming in Florida this week.
