Believe it or not, it has been over 2 years since a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was announced by Ubisoft. The game has been officially confirmed for a release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and there are rumors of a Nintendo Switch version on the way.

What has been unfortunate, however, has been the development hell that the game has been going through. There hasn’t been a lot of information on the game as of late, and it has even been delayed a few times over the past year and a half.

It is getting to the point that fans are now worried that the game is going to be cancelled, if it hasn’t already happened. Because of this, Ubisoft has updated the FAQ section for the game to mention that the “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake is not cancelled. The game is currently in development at Ubisoft Montréal”.
