The iconic ant-hero Bounty Hunter joins the Star Wars Black Series line!
Earlier today Hasbro has revealed what would have been there European Convention exclusive figure. If you recall last year it was the Skywalker Strikes Luke Skywalker figure. This year it’s Cad Bane from the Clone Wars TV series and I have to say I am extremely happy about that. I’m a big fan of the Clone Wars and Cad Bane so I am very happy to see more characters from the series in the Black Series line.
The Cad Bane figure itself looks absolutely fantastic. Hasbro has done an amazing job of capturing the character in figure form. I really love the gunslinger look to Cad Bane with the hat, duster coat, and chaps. His signature guns look great and he does have working holsters for them.
He really stood out in the series and he’ll undoubtedly stand out on your display too. Todo 360 looks fantastic too and it’s a shame that he’s only available this way for the time being, but I understand he’s part of an exclusive and all.
Unfortunately if your reading this article now you may know that the figure is already pre-sold out from many e-retailers outside of the US and I have missed it as well. Though there’s some good news as Cad Bane will be released in the regular Black Series line later this year.
What makes this an exclusive is the Todo 360 droid figure and the deluxe packaging. I’ll definitely be picking up that one when it’s released later this year and I am wondering what assortment he’ll come in? Whatever assortment it is you can be sure Cad Bane will be a big seller and I hope an Assaj Ventress isn’t too far behind.
