In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream…
Just earlier this week NECA revealed the packaging shots for the Ultimate Big Chap Alien which will be a part of NECA’s upcoming Alien 40th Anniversary lineup.
NECA has updated the sculpt so that it’s more accurate to the Alien that we saw in the 1979 film and it features all the details that the recent Aliens have featured such as a bendy wire in the tail and the hinged jaw with the extendable inner mouth.
The Alien features over 30 points of articulation including double-jointed elbows and knees. As this is an Ultimate release the Big Chap also comes with some accessories and they are an Alien egg, facehugger, and chestburster. The egg is an all-new accessory as it features a vined base like the eggs we see in the original Alien. Maybe we’ll see a carton of those one day, one can hope.
This figure will be hitting early 2020 with the other Alien 40th Anniversary figures hitting store shelves sometime after. If you haven’t picked up one of these just yet this figure is highly recommended and if you have you get some really nice looking accessories and one can never have enough Aliens!
