It’s turning out to be a surprisingly good year for Mephisto. First, The Lord of Evil made his unexpected debut in the MCU. And then, over the weekend at SDCC 2025, Hasbro made the staggering announcement that good ol’ Mephisto would at long last be joining the 6” Marvel Legends series as a made-to-order Hasbro Pulse exclusive! If you’re ready to make a deal for The Devil, Mephisto and his throne are now up for pre-order at the spicy price of $79.99! Is this Lord of Lies bound for your home, Marvel collectors?

Exclusive Marvel Legends Mephisto Figure and Throne

Mephisto is a complicated character for Hasbro to release, as big box retailers aren’t exactly wild about selling a toy of the actual devil in their stores. As such, Hasbro tried to sneak Marvel Legends Mephisto out the door as part of the Engine of Vengeance Haslab Ghost Rider car package back in 2022. Unfortunately, that Haslab was a total flop, making collectors fear that Mephistopheles might be out of reach forever.

Diamond Select Toys closing up shop this year didn’t help matters, as the closure shit down the possibility of the popular (but long unavailable) Marvel Select Mephisto figure getting a new printing. But fate (and the Hasbro Marvel team), have smiled upon The Lord of Evil, unveiling a long-awaited Marvel Legends action figure of the character at San Diego Comic Con 2025!

Hasbro said the Haslab figure of this character (shown above) would never be released, and they’ve stayed true to their word. This new and improved Mephisto comes with a lot of fresh tooling, improved articulation and new features/accessories to make it superior to “the one that got away”!

Marvel Legends Mephisto Figure and AccessoriesStanding over 7” tall, s stature befitting of such an infamous evil, the Mephisto Legends figure features a brand new and suitably sinister head sculpt (plus alternate head), new butterfly shoulder joints to bring him up to modern super-articulation standards, a deadly looking great sword, swappable hands, new boots, and—oh yeah—an elaborate and incredibly detailed Infernal Throne to sit upon.

Marvel Legends Mephisto Throne FrontThe Infernal Throne is over 5” tall, 6” wide and 7” deep, making it a diorama piece that’s notably larger than most Marvel Legends action figures themselves.

Exclusive Marvel Legends Mephisto Action Figure and Infernal ThroneObviously Mephisto needs to be able to sit and rest on his throne, so Hasbro has done fans the kindness of including both plastic and soft goods interchangeable capes and loincloths. I am not a soft goods guy, so I am thrilled to have the plastic add-on pieces for Mephisto when he’s not sitting upon his throne, necessitating the fabric ones.

Of course, all that throne-y goodness comes at a price—and that price is $79.99 for the set of Mephisto and the throne. That’s not a bad price at all given that Mephisto himself is slightly oversized, there are a multitude of paint apps on the throne and the set is a made-to-order exclusive, but some fans will definitely still flinch at “$80 for Mephisto”.

Mephisto Marvel Legends 2026 Figure On Top of Skull ThroneI’m totally okay with it if this is how I can get this devil in my collection, but not all collectors will be comfortable with it. This item is being made-to-order and is not a cowdfunding Haslab project, so if you order by the deadline, you are guaranteed a Mephisto of your own to have and hold and love.

Marvel Legends Hasbro Pulse Exclusive Mephisto Action Figure with Infernal ThroneMarvel Legends Mephisto with Infernal Throne is now available for order exclusively on the Hasbro Pulse website, with pre-orders closing on August 26th. He ain’t cheap, but he is a big boy with a huge throne and a lot of new tooling. Mephisto is estimated to ship out next summer (2026). Are you contemplating picking one up, Marvel collectors?
