“Werewolf By Night – Part 06”

A demon has arrived! Queen Lilith, mother of so many devil spawn, has been summoned to lead the Darkholders. That means just one thing: death to the current management! But who will make the revised list of inner circle members?

Elsewhere, Jack Russell and Elsa Bloodstone are hunting for one of the mutant werewolves in the Colorado Rockies. What’s so important about catching the silver-haired Darkhold Hound? High up on twisting mountain roads they are about to find out. A large creature suddenly slams into the side Elsa’s Jeep Cherokee, sending the vehicle swerving out of control. In seconds, the two monster hunters are rocketed off the side of a cliff face.

Will the Hood honor his agreement with the mother of all demons, Lilith? Can Jake Gomez find peace in the Medicine Bow-Routt national forest? What happened to the mortal form of Deathwatch? Collect the series to find out!

Things are getting “hairy” out there! Lilith has definitely stepped up the game for the Darkholders, but animosity in the ranks is never a good thing. I’m glad Werewolf By Night is in good hands, as writer Mark Gruenwald has an excellent grasp on storytelling. I give issue six of Werewolf By Night: Red Band four out of five stars.
