Fantastic Four – Volume 07 Issue 26

My Rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.

“Blood Brothers”

While the kids are away, the adults will play. Susan, Alecia, and Ben have taken the kids to New York City for a trick-or-treat extravaganza. This leaves two responsible adults home at the Fantastic Farmhouse. Well, make that one and a half responsible adults.

That evening, Reed Richards picks up traces of sorcery with his new magic detector. Johnny and Reed race down into the basement to confront whatever foe that may wait for them. The only thing with a pulse is the washing machine running on the rinse cycle. The disturbance was coming from somewhere underneath the concrete floor. If only Susan had been there to turn it invisible. It’s shoveling time!

What lies beneath the humble home of Aunt Petunia Grimm? Who, or what is the Dread Mongaroth the channel destroyer of flesh? Do French Cultists validate parking? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

Why has magic become such a mystery for the Fantastic Four recently? It’s as if they have never encountered it before. Weird, right? Wasn’t Agatha Harkness the babysitter for Franklin Richards back in the day? Hello!

Ryan North knocks it out of the ballpark once again with this year’s Halloween issue of the Fantastic Four. The trick-or-treat costume reveal is worth a five star rating alone. If you are looking for some Halloween fun, I recommend getting this one for sure. I give it five out of five stars.
