Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is dominating the box office at the moment, and no matter what you think critically, it’s packed with great visuals, set designs, and perhaps our new favorite, Bob. In Beetlejuice Beetlejuice our “Ghost with the Most” works in a call center and Bob, the good-natured Shrinker and his loyal assistant.

He is so good at his job, that Google hired him to be their new spokesmodel for their AI tool package. In the video, we see Bob (complete with his red, “Hello, My Name Is…nametag) as an online influencer who seems natural in front of the camera.

Bob in Google AI Ad

“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice made me famous.” He says through his sewn-up mouth; closed captioning translating his pitch, “With Google, I’m loving my new life!”

Bob made his debut in the original movie. He is the wide-eyed, confused “shrinker” dressed as a jungle explorer sitting next to the putrid bio-exorcist in the waiting room for the recently deceased. In the sequel, he is Beetlejuice’s Netherworld office manager, loyal to his problematic boss.

Bob is “voiced” by Nick Kellington, an actor who has made several appearances in the Star Wars universe: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Star Wars Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker(2019).

He was also the voice of Dipsy in Teletubbies.

This might be a tiny spoiler, but without giving too much away, we thought we would never see Bob again again after Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. But it’s nice to know that he has been promoted by the world’s largest search engine company and living his best after-life.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is now playing in theaters.
