The Mega Multiplayer Festival features various activities throughout the month of August and until the beginning of September, including discounts on hundreds of multiplayer games for Nintendo Switch, extra benefits for Nintendo Switch Online members and additional ways to earn Gold and Platinum Points. The Multiplayer Festival starts on Thursday, 1st August at 10:00 CEST, and ends on Sunday, 8th September at 23:59 CEST.

Beginning with the start of the Mega Multiplayer Festival, users can receive an additional two-month Nintendo Switch Online membership at no extra cost when buying any 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership on Nintendo eShop or on My Nintendo Store

From Monday, 5th August at 10:00 CEST to Sunday, 18th August, Bonus Gold Points are available on selected Nintendo Switch game purchases on Nintendo eShop and on My Nintendo Store. Users can apply them on their next Nintendo eShop purchase by redeeming them at checkout. Nintendo Switch Online members can earn 20% in Gold Points and non-members can earn 10% in Gold Points. 

Game Trials will begin in the following week. Nintendo Switch Online members will be able to play four full multiplayer titles for free from August 19th until August 25th. These games will also be purchasable at a discount during the Game Trial period.

The Mega Multiplayer Sale from Monday, 26th August at 15:00 CEST until Sunday, 8th September at 23:59 BST features discounts on hundreds of multiplayer games on Nintendo eShop, including co-operative, party and online titles.

Additionally, beginning on Monday, August 5th, playing any Nintendo Switch game with online play gives users the chance to earn an additional 30 Platinum Points every week for up to 150 additional Platinum Points until 8th September at 23:59 BST. 

Finally, many multiplayer-game related My Nintendo Rewards are already available on My Nintendo Store, including sticker sets, posters and more – These can be redeemed by using Platinum Points.
