Late last month, a man was murdered near the Las Vegas Strip; the alleged perpetrator is believed to have had a conflict with the victim and was later observed eating the face of the deceased.

In the early morning hours of April 28th authorities were notified about a violent confrontation on Las Vegas Boulevard. Less than an hour later, law enforcement received a second call regarding one man “eating” the face of another.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they discovered 29-year-old Colin Czech on top of the victim, Kenneth Brown. According to documents reviewed by local CBS affiliate 8 News Now, Czech had “biological matter in his hair, mouth and on his clothing”.

Arrest records reveal that Czech “was going in and out of consciousness” during questioning. The suspect told responding officers that he is unhoused and had been “awake for five days straight”. Czech went on to say that he hasn’t been able to rest because something was “possessing him”.

Czech additionally revealed to law enforcement that “he used his teeth to eat [the man’s] eyeballs and ears”.

Brown was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival. He had a laceration on his face and was missing an eye and an ear when he arrived at the facility.

Czech is now facing murder charges for the deadly altercation. The suspect was unable to appear at his initial court hearing because he was hospitalized following the grisly ordeal.
