Lana Del Rey is the latest artist to release a cover song for Jack Antonoff’s The New Look soundtrack. Her contribution is Irving Berlin’s 1920s song “Blue Skies.” Listen to the new track below.

Del Rey’s “Blue Skies” follows the 1975’s “Now Is the Hour” and Florence and the Machine’s “White Cliffs of Dover.” The New Look, created by Todd A. Kessler, premieres today (February 14) on Apple TV+.

Del Rey has a storied collaborative relationship with producer Jack Antonoff—who just won the 2024 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, in part, due to his work on Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd—and the two apparently worked together again on a new project: the country album Lasso. “If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We’re going country. It’s happening,” Del Rey said recently. “That’s why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”

Check out Pitchfork’s “The 50 Best Albums of 2023,” featuring Lana Del Rey’s Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd at No. 11.
