Joni Mitchell will be performing at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 4. It’ll be the first time that the 18-time nominee takes the stage at the ceremony. The other performers at the 2024 Grammys are: Burna Boy, Luke Combs, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, and U2, the latter of whom will be performing from the Sphere in Las Vegas.

The 2024 Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, broadcast live on CBS from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Mitchell is nominated for Best Folk Album at the 2024 Grammys for Joni Mitchell at Newport (Live). She’s won nine competitive Grammys across her storied career, with the first coming in 1970 for Best Folk Performance for Clouds, and the the most recent arriving in 2022 for Best Historical Album for Archives, Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963-1967).

While Mitchell appeared at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2021, her Grammys appearance in 2022 began a more concerted return to the public eye after having a brain aneurism in 2015. Following her victory, she and Bonnie Raitt introduced Brandi Carlile’s performance at the 2022 Grammys, and, a few months later, she famously performed with Carlile and others at the Newport Folk Festival. The next year, Mitchell played a headline show at Washington’s Gorge Amphitheatre.
