On Tuesday Hasbro revealed two new products for the Vintage Collection and Black Series lines to tie in with the latest episode of The Mandalorian. Both of these figures are based on their appearances in The Book of Boba Fett. For the Vintage Collection, we get a figure of Jedi Academy Luke Skywalker (similar to that Black Series figure we saw last week) and for The Black Series, it’s a figure of Black Krrsantan.

Both of these figures do look really good and I have especially been looking forward to the Book of Boba Fett Black Krrsantan in the Black Series since it was announced in the pipeline reveals last year. The Jedi Academy Luke Skywalker is pretty barebones when it comes to accessories as he only comes with a lit and an unlit version of his lightsaber. Though I really do like the packaging for him.

I’m very happy to see that Black Krrsantan looks awesome! He looks big and bulky and much larger than Chewie. The sculpt looks great and he looks suitably ferocious. I love the subtle black and brown wash to the fur of the figure and the grey fur in his braids and eyebrows looks great and it’s very subtle on the eyebrows. The armor and pelt trophy look fantastic and very well-detailed. They’ve painted the tips of the knuckle dusters and the rifle looks very well-detailed and has some painted details to boot.

The articulation looks very good and retains all the articulation that you would expect from Black Series figures. I’d be very interested to see how tall he is compared to the other Black Series figure from the Mandalorian & Book of Boba Fett as that’s where I’ll be displaying him once I’ve gotten one.

Both of these figures are scheduled to be released later this year and will go up for pre-order later today.
