This week’s UK charts are now in and this one is once again a slightly quieter affair for Nintendo titles in the top ten, with only three Switch games making the cut.

As is to be expected, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Minecraft appear in the ten best-selling games of this week in fifth and tenth places respectively (it really will be one for the books when they fall off the table) and Super Mario Odyssey continues to sell well in at eighth, capping off yet another week back in the charts.

The rest of the picture is more Playstation and Xbox-focused this time around. Resident Evil 4 retains the pole position from last week, closely followed by the other returners, FIFA 23 (27% of sales for which continue to come from the Switch), Hogwarts Legacy and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

While the top ten might not be all about Nintendo this week, the Switch dominates the later numbers on the charts. Every position from 12th-23rd has seen the majority of its sales coming from the Switch, with the likes of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Nintendo Switch Sports in at positions 12 and 13, and Mario Party Superstars and Splatoon 3 in the early 20s.

But that’s quite enough from us, here’s your look at this week’s top ten:
