Japan: Kirby enters at No.1 this week & PS5 No.1 gaming system

The latest Japanese video game boxed software and hardware charts have come through from the team at sale tracker Famitsu for the week of 20th February, 2023 to 26th February, 2023. The best-selling video game this week in the land of the rising sun is Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe which made its debut with extremely solid sales shifting 189,031 physical copies. The best-selling gaming platform was once again Sony’s PlayStation 5 shifting 91,729 units and the Nintendo Switch family was the second best-selling gaming platform, shifting an additional 61,384 units.
