On Friday the 13th NECA revealed at long last the Universal Monsters Bride of Frankenstein figure and she’s up for pre-order in the US now. I have to say she does look excellent and I am delighted with her and I’m really looking forward to getting her later this year.
I’m really impressed with the likeness of Elsa Lanchester. I like the red hair, which is very accurate to the costume she wore in the film. The variety of heads is excellent and captures those iconic moments from the film perfectly. The number of accessories is great as well I love that you can display the Bride in either of her two looks from the film; when she’s just been created and came to life all bandaged up or her more iconic look with her dress on and unmasked.
I have noticed that one accessory is missing, when I was at SDCC last summer, NECA had shown a stone base with two rods coming out the top of it with some chains which she is seen on for part of the film, undoubtedly this will be part of her accessory set which will get announced sometime later this year.
Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long for her to come up for pre-order here in the UK. This figure is an absolute must-have for me
