Just this weekend NECA revealed the Back To The Future Accessory set which they have been hinting at and teasing for a number of months. A number of months ago we first saw Einstein, Doc Brown’s dog and that is all we saw for a while. Then just this weekend NECA revealed the complete set and how much it will cost $35. The set contains accessories for figures from Back To The Future & Part II. In the accessory set you get:

  • Einstein
  • Hazmat Suit Head (Doc)
  • Brainscanner Head (Doc)
  • Plutonium Case
  • Two license plates
  • Interchangeable hands for Doc & Marty
  • Papers
  • Shoes & Case from Back To The Future Part II

I have to say I am very impressed with what the accessory set comes with as it comes with pretty much everything you could ask for from the first two films. Aside from more figures which I am hoping we’ll get as we are still missing a number and they haven’t started on III yet. All of the accessories look incredibly well-detailed and the gallery that they uploaded showcases all the accessories very nicely. The only complaint that I can really make is that I wish Einstein was an articulated figure as well akin to the G.I. Joe Classified animals.

I really love the case for the shoes and the Plutonium case which is something I would expect that would be included in it. The Brainscanner head looks great and again is something I expected we would get in this set. It’s incredibly well-detailed and very accurate to the film. The letters/ papers are great and are needed accessories as well.

As a big fan of the Back To The Future trilogy, this is a must-have for me. It’s everything I could hope for in an accessory set themed around the first two films. This set will be a NECA store exclusive and will go up for pre-order on the 26th of October and will ship early next year. I was successfully able to pre-order the TMNT Secret of The Ooze Tokka and Rahzar two-pack earlier this year to ship to the UK so I should not have any trouble with this one either.
