Action Figures/ Toys

When I was at SDCC last week I visited the Diamond Select Toys booth and this year they had a great showing of all their upcoming products from all their big brand properties. They always have a large array of statues and busts with some action figures and Minimates in as well. They had a large array of Star Wars products mostly consisting of busts and statues and they all looked absolutely fantastic, especially the statues with diorama bases.

I think the Darth Maul and Ashoka Tano set looks fantastic together and very much looks like they are meant to be displayed together. The same can be said for Obi-Wan and Darth Vader statues from the Obi-Wan series. They are continuing their Avatar The Last Airbender Select line and Invincible Select figures which look really good and I am glad that they are continuing the Avatar Select line and I am glad that the brand is still strong.

As usual, they had a large selection of Marvel products spanning statues, busts, and select figures. I really like seeing the Marvel Select figures, especially Apocalypse who looks incredible and it looks like you could fudge him in your Marvel Legends display as Apocalypse changes size.

They have a number of busts and statues from other licenses including Godzilla, AEW, Power Rangers & TMNT and I really like the look of the Last Ronin statue which looks excellent. I really love the look of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Minimates which look incredible and especially the Megazord! I was extremely happy to see the Lord of The Rings Select line continue.

The figures of Boromir and Lurtz look brilliant and very film accurate. I am very keen to see the accessories that they come with. I also spoke to Zach Oat and he said they have plans to complete The Fellowship, and hopefully we’ll get even more figures as well with the likes of Saruman and Gandalf The White.

The G.I. Joe Minimates look fantastic and I am really tempted to get them, especially if they continue the line beyond this boxset.
