Robyn Dixon is introducing The Real Housewives of Potomac fans to her new dream home with Juan Dixon and their two sons. Robyn posted a photo showing the family smiling together while standing in front of their new house. Considering all the ups and downs the Dixons have faced when it comes to money issues, Robyn’s followers are happy to see her new home debut. It comes after the Dixons lost their previous home after an emotional bankruptcy journey.
During RHOP season 5, Robyn and Juan shared their plans to build their own dream home after Juan popped the big question for a second time. The couple had continued living together despite their divorce, but a series of poor financial decisions put a strain on their love life and caused a rift they were able to work through over the course of the show. Robyn was forced into bankruptcy years ago after getting taken advantage of by a friend who ended up taking his own life. But after Robyn landed a spot on RHOP and Juan found a job as a basketball coach, the couple was able to rebuild as they prepared to get married for a second time.
Over the weekend, Robyn Dixon took to Instagram to share some good news with her fans: she’s unveiled her new family home. “New home sweet home, I am so grateful for our blessings,” Robyn captioned the photo (included below). “Thank you God for the strength to weather life’s challenges and the opportunities to grow from them.” Many of Robyn’s friends and followers flooded her comments with messages of support. With Robyn being so transparent about her money issues on The Real Housewives of Potomac, many viewers are happy to see the Dixon family rebounding together. Her best friend, Gizelle Bryant, also left a comment sharing how in “Love love love” she is with Robyn’s new home.
This latest update and picture also shows how well things are going between Robyn and Juan after a recent episode revealed how “unattractive” Juan found her lack of motivation to get out of bed during the quarantine period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Robyn opened up about how sluggish she had been feeling and how she had been starting her day in the afternoon instead of the mornings. Clips showed Juan scolding Robyn about the apparent laziness and telling her she needs to do better. While opening up with her friends, Gizelle’s way of being supportive was by telling Robyn how Juan wasn’t going to marry her if he considered her to be unattractive.
Gizelle’s comment rubbed many viewers the wrong way as they felt like she wasn’t being supportive of her friends’ possible signs of depression. Alas, with Juan and Robyn finishing their home, it looks like the longtime couple is one step closer to rebuilding their happy family life. Now, The Real Housewives of Potomac fans are looking forward to another Dixon wedding and one that will stand the test of time. They might want to add some shots of whisky to the housewarming menu.
