Need a hit of Resident Evil Village news this morning? Game Informer has posted a new video for the upcoming title that focuses on Village‘s upgrade system.

Part of that new upgrade system is the introduction of animal hunting. Aside from the werewolves and other monsters lurking about, you also have animals that you can hunt and butcher for meat. Of course, these animals won’t go down easily, so you’ll have to reserve your ammo, and make every shot count.

Once you’ve secured your kills, you can take these ingredients to The Duke’s Kitchen, where The Duke will exchange them for upgrades to Ethan’s arsenal.

If hunting isn’t your thing, you can also use lei, the game’s currency. You can pick up lei up from fallen enemies, and exchange that with The Duke for upgrades to power, rate of fire, reload speed, and ammo capacity. And yes, keep an eye out for hidden treasures that hold more lei.

Resident Evil Village is due out for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC via Steam, and Google Stadia on May 7.
