Austin-based duo Black Pumas were the musical guests on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night (January 19). They performed “Colors” from their 2019 debut, also titled Black Pumas. Check it out below.

Black Pumas have also released a pair of Spotify Singles. They recorded a new version of “Colors” with Hypnotic Brass Ensemble for the series. They also covered Rodriguez’s song “Sugar Man.” Hear those below, too.

Black Pumas received a number of Grammy Nominations for this year’s ceremony, including Record of the Year (“Colors”), Album of the Year (Black Pumas (Deluxe Edition)), and Best American Roots Performance (“Colors”). Last month, Black Pumas shared a cover of Lou Rawls’ “Christmas Will Really Be Christmas.”
