My Big Fat Fabulous Life star and villain Chase Severino decided to open up during a recent podcast appearance about his awful experience and backlash of hate he has received over the past few months. Fans will recall Whitney had to take to her Instagram account back in May to clear the air about her relationship with Chase. In a shocking revelation, Whitney let her followers know that the duo was no longer a couple as Chase was an expecting father.
According to the North Carolina native, she and Chase had been spending time apart due to the pandemic. He rekindled an old relationship with a former flame, resulting in her becoming pregnant. Since then, Chase has been on the receiving end of fans’ hatred for him.

Chase is currently in the dog house with TLC fans. Now, he seems to be digging himself a bigger hole as he recently opened up on Half the Distance to the Goal podcast that his friends created. Chase was a guest on the football-themed show where they were catching up on their weekly college football games.
While Chase was throwing his weight and spreads around, he made a quick comment about his last paycheck from My Big Fat Fabulous Life, which was only $400. One of the co-anchors asked, “Man, they only paid you $400 bucks?” The new father replied that it was for “half an episode” and chugged the rest of his beer. For many TLC fans, Chase came across as rude while he was left cackling with a cigar in his mouth. Whitney has often come out and pleaded for fans to leave him alone.
Many are convinced that the relationship was scripted by and for the TLC series. Even though neither one has publically commented, both have left a trail of breadcrumbs for fans to decipher. TLC viewers couldn’t get over the lack of affection between the couple when they were together. Even their Paris proposal seemed tedious and planned. Whitney has always stood by their relationship, explaining that she not only lost a lover but a future and that the relationship was never staged. Hopefully, Chase sticks to his football podcasts and slowly backs away from the limelight forever.
