Hasbro’s Retro Spider-Man Marvel Legends line continues to grow with the official reveal of the Cyborg Spider-Man Marvel Legends figure which follows on the reveal from Black Cat just a few weeks ago. I am not too sure if they’ll make up a wave or if they are individual releases though I would guess from things that they would be individual releases instead of a wave though I won’t be surprised if we see another wave down the line.

I’m a bit too young to remember the Toybiz line as a kid but I have seen images of a Toybiz Cyborg Spider-Man, though I don’t think he appeared in the Animated series but appeared in the toy line that was released alongside it.

This figure isn’t using the new body that the Retro Spider-Man figure which was released a few months ago in the Retro Animated Series wave. Though I have to say I really do like the sculpt of this figure and I am glad that he comes with some accessories which are the interchangeable hand and the webbing effect.

This figure certainly gives off a 90’s vibe with the Animated Series card back and the overall design of the character. I certainly need to pick up the other figures that are in this Marvel Legends Retro Animated Series Spider-Man line and I hope we see some more variants of Spider-Man released in this wave such as the Iron Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider-Man would be great additions to the line.

Cyborg Spider-Man will be a Target exclusive in the States and EB Games in Canada and at the moment it’s unknown how this figure will be available outside of the US and Canada. It’s meant to be released later this year and hopefully, before then we’ll know more about its international distribution.
