Earlier this year NECA revealed that they had the license to Back to The Future and have revealed so far five figures in the line which are Back To The Future 1985 Marty McFly, Back To The Future 1955 Doc Brown, Back To The Future ‘Tales From Space’ Marty McFly, Back To The Future Part II 2015 Marty McFly and Back To The Future Part II Biff Tannen.
The first two figures will be released soon and those two are the 85′ Marty McFly and ‘Tales From Space’ Marty McFly. NECA has already released packaging shots of the 85′ Marty and he looks excellent and I’ll definitely be getting that one. This one looks equally impressive.
As you can see Marty comes with interchangeable heads and hands and has multiple options to wear the mask with him fully masked, lifted mask or off with the mask hanging down. He also comes with the cassette player and hairdryer and I didn’t realize till I looked closer that the waistband looks like it’s made of a soft plastic material as you can fit the hairdryer in the waistband which is such a great touch!
I really do love the packaging to this too, especially the EC Comic feel to the cover art it’s just awesome!
It should be noted that for a time this will be a Target exclusive in the US with a wider and an international release a little later down the line. I’m very excited to get these Back To The Future figures once they make their way to the UK in a few month’s time!
