Colton Underwood and ex Cassie Randolph unfollowed each other on Instagram three months after breaking up. The pair had a chaotic love story from their meeting on season 23 of The Bachelor in 2019. The former NFL player was a recent cast off from season 14 of The Bachelorette, where he was sent home by Becca Kufrin after making it to the final four. On Colton’s season after whittling down to the final three, frontrunner Cassie Randolph decided to leave the show, saying she wasn’t ready for engagement, although many have come out to say Cassie’s decision to leave was a result of producer meddling. The decision led to Colton’s infamous jump over a fence and his decision to send Tayshia Adams and Hannah Goodwin home.

Colton and Cassie pursued a relationship outside the show once engagement was off the table, with Colton moving to Los Angeles to be closer to the Orange County native. Although in August 2019 Colton released a book where he revealed the couple split briefly over the summer, it looked like things were going smoothly as the pair announced their one year anniversary on Instagram in November 2019. Fast forward to 2020 and Colton revealed that he had been infected with the Coronavirus and was quarantined with Cassie and her family while she nursed him back to health. A few months later in May, they shocked fans announcing that they had decided to call it quits after less than two years of dating. Cassie wrote in a series of posts that the couple may have broken up but they would always remain friends. That sentiment didn’t last long. When Cassie appeared on The Bachelor Greatest of all Time, Chris Harrison badgered the 26-year old for details on the breakup. Colton called out his ex on Instagram for failing to keep their relationship private, and Cassie accused Colton of monetizing the relationship. The two engaged in a public Instagram feud, which ultimately led to Colton and Cassie turning the blame on Chris Harrison and production.
But it seems like that wasn’t enough to clear the air as fans have since taken notice that both Colton and Cassie have stopped following each other on Instagram three months after calling it quits. There has been no official announcement as to why the couple stopped following each other, but there could be some bad blood left between the former Bachelor stars since Cassie’s sister Michelle and her boyfriend, Gregg Sulkin, no longer follow Colton as well. Colton, on the other hand, still follows Sulkin, but not Cassie and her sister.
Speculation is swirling after their very public and messy breakup, especially following the whiplash of their relationship. From public feuds to Colton defending Cassie against the The Bachelor franchise, there could be many reasons for the pair to decide to unfollow each other after all the drama.
Although since they both have a reputation of sharing their personal lives with the world, it’s likely either Cassie or Colton will elude to their official “Instagram breakup” in the near future.
