Last night Hasbro had their Star Wars panel where they revealed a number of products from their various toy lines. The main focus of the panel was the Star Wars Vintage Collection line and the basic 3.75″ line which has no come to an end. There were also a few products for their Black Series line too.

As a collector of the Vintage Collection, I am very happy with these reveals, especially the Hondo and Rogue One Darth Vader figures. Both of these figures look excellent and I am glad that they’ve made Hondo available in the Vintage Collection without having to buy the Millenium Falcon which is a very expensive set. I haven’t got a Darth Vader in my Vintage Collection so I’ll definitely be picking this one up that’s for sure also the card art is awesome!

The Tantive IV diorama set looks fantastic and very reasonably priced in my opinion. If I took my Vintage Collection off the cards I would really consider getting this as it’s a fantastic set.

Next up we have the Saga Collection which was the basic kid-friendly 5 POA line which has been the basic line since the Force Awakens and now is officially over with these assorted five packs. I am quite sad to see the line end as there were some very good figures in this line and some of which I have in my collection. What I really like about these ones is that they’ve utilized the face printing tech on these ones which they haven’t used in this line till now and I have to say a number of these are big improvements over the original releases.

The Black Series Emperor Palpatine Lightsaber is the next one in the series. I have been really impressed with the array of lightsabers that they have released in this line, though I do think the price point is a little too high in my opinion. This would be a fantastic piece to have along with the other lightsabers that they have released in the line.

There were only two Black Series reveals last night. They were Gaming Greats Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order Electrostaff Purge Trooper and the Phase 1 Clone Trooper Lieutenant.

I am very ecstatic that we’re getting more figures from Fallen Order as I love the game and the unique troopers to the game. I love the design of the Purge Troopers in the game and I would love to get at least two of these to face off against Cal and I wouldn’t object to getting more figures from the game. Even if they released another Cal from the game with a poncho, a different lightsaber, and a new BD-1 I would happily snap another up! I am glad that the Gaming Greats line is continuing to grow!

I should mention that the Clone Trooper Lieutenant is a Walgreens exclusive and as of yet isn’t currently listed on any international toy stores yet. Also, the Purge Trooper will be a Gamestop Exclusive in the States and will be available internationally at various e-retailers. All the other figures and the lightsaber will be available to international customers at various e-retailers. Finally, all these products are scheduled to be released later this year.
