Ghost of Tsushima has made it a point to remain accurate to ancient Japanese and Samurai culture. From Katanas to armor, the game does an amazing job of immersing players in Feudal Japan. But even the great Samurai of clan Sakai need to take a breather once in a while.
Jin’s escape from the harsh reality that he lives in (other than soaking in a Tsushima’s hot springs) is composing Haiku in one of 16 visually stimulating locations around Tsushima Island. Not to discredit the island in its entirety, but there is something about these spots that just get the creative juices flowing in Lord Sakai. This guide will walk players through the 16 different Haiku locations on Tsushima Island and how to find them. There are three Haikus that are found during the main story tales and side tales. Players will be forced to do them while on these quests so they cannot be missed.

If players are dedicated to Haiku hunting, they’ll want to invest a technique point into the ‘Winds of Vanity’ skill. This will allow players to use the guiding winds to located different vanity pieces, and since Haikus reward players with unique headbands, they are included. If one does not have a skill point to spare, exploring these general areas below will eventually result in a Golden Bird guiding Jin to the Haiku location. It may take a few tries, but it’ll work eventually. But heading to each area and using the guiding wind is far more effective.

Now equipped with a poetic portfolio, Jin can lay down his sword, hang up his armor and embark on his life’s true calling. Not really, but I’m sure he’d appreciate a few peaceful days of poetry once Tsushima is rid of the Mongolian invaders.
