Season 18 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians had a fiery premiere this past March, giving fans more than enough to talk about. But after only six aired episodes, the long-running series is on hiatus, and they won’t be back for a while.
The Kardashians started season 18 of its popular series with an unforgettable physical altercation between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian. While tensions died down between the sisters over the following episodes, there was plenty of entertainment, heartfelt moments and life-changing discussions revealed to viewers. Kourtney took a step back from filming to focus more on her family. Kim made amends with Khloé’s ex Tristan Thompson and helped Scott Disick with public speaking. At the forefront of most of the storylines, Khloé has shared her struggles with co-parenting all while exploring the idea of freezing her eggs and planning a long term prank on Kris Jenner with Scott. And there’s no show without the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, who has been juggling her new increased sex drive for boyfriend Corey Gamble, her manager responsibilities and attempting to find Khloé a new man. All of that is only a piece of what has occurred so far on this season. So what’s next?
After the end of episode six, a preview for what’s to come in the remaining part of the season aired. The jam-packed trailer showed footage filmed by cell phones and freestanding cameras due to the social distancing restrictions. It introduced several new drama-filled storylines, and was appropriately underscored by climatic music. Needless to say, it had fans eager for the next episode. Yet when the following Thursday came episode seven was missing from the TV guide. Because it was not clearly stated in the original aired trailer, it was naturally assumed the show would be returning the following week per usual. The video released on the show’s YouTube page has an even more jaw-dropping ending than Khloé self-recording, “We’re going to get through this.” The E! announcer reveals Keeping Up with the Kardashians will return in September. See the trailer below:
Although fans have to wait until September, they have a lot to look forward to in future episodes. Aside from finding out how the family is coping with the quarantine, there appears to be something going on with Kendall. Kim is in a rush to get to her husband Kanye West’s event and the famous sister have some upcoming bonding time.
Fans will have to wait until the fall to see how their favorite family is doing, but in the meantime they can get through this long period by indulging in past episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians or stay up to date with their social media accounts. If that’s not enough, just remember Khloé’s encouraging words: ”We will get through this.”
Keeping Up with the Kardashians returns to E! in September.
