A lot of treats to come in 2020!

As a tradition, NECA reveals some goodies for the following year and this year was no different. This year NECA dropped some teasers of upcoming products from some of their licenses.

NECA Revealed a brand new Alien 40th Anniversary Ripley figure, the first look at a W-I-P TMNT diorama, a 1932 Olympic Medal which at this time is unclear what property it’s from. Halloween III Retro figure packaging preview, A black, and purple Fugitive Predator and an art image from Halloween II.

As you know NECA is releasing figures to tie in with the 40th Anniversary of Alien. This figure of Ellen Ripley will be utilizing the face printing tech that NECA introduced into their line earlier this year. I’ve noticed it on their Laurie Strode, Ripley 8 and the Walmart Evil Dead II Ash. As you can see she’ll be coming with plenty of accessories including the flamethrower, Jonesy, a cat box and a motion tracker. I’m really excited to see this updated figure.

One of the most highly anticipated NECA releases is the Halloween III Retro figure 3-pack. Now NECA has shown an image of a part of the packaging for the 3-pack and I have to say it looks very impressive.

Next up NECA showed off a work in progress image of a part of an upcoming TMNT diorama. It’s unclear what it’ll be but it looks like it’ll for the animated series figures. I’m very excited to see what the final product will look like.

NECA has released an art image from a scene from Haloween II. From the image, it looks like it’ll be an art card for a Retro Halloween II Michael Myers figure. I’ll be very keen to see the final art piece when it’s complete.

One strange thing that NECA revealed was a 1932 Olympic Medal. I can’t really tell what it’s for but I did hear some people say that this could possibly be for a Jesse Owens vs Flash Two-pack as Jesse Owens won an Olympic medal in 1932. This 2-pack will be similar to the Superman vs Muhammed Ali two-pack that came out a while ago.

Finally, NECA showed off an image of a purple and black colored Fugitive Predator which featured in the promotional material for the film. It even has light-up eyes and he looks fantastic, it really does make the figure pop!

All these products will be fully revealed and released sometime in 2020 and in a few months, time at Toy Fair will have even more surprises in store for us!
