Mezco has opened up pre-orders for their upcoming One:12 Collective Popeye and Bluto: Stormy Seas Ahead Deluxe Box Set. I remember them revealing these figures earlier this year at SDCC and they looked awesome! I’m really happy that they are releasing these as a set as Popeye is incredibly difficult to get, especially here in the UK so I’m glad that he’s getting a re-release along with his rival!

The detailing on these figures is absolutely perfect and I love how they incorporate the original cartoon designs into a more modern design. In my opinion, these look timeless. I’ve seen the Popeye figure before and I love it so I’m already sold on getting this box set because of him alone. The Bluto figure looks absolutely incredible and so imposing to boot!

Popeye does include all the accessories that the original figure came with along with the brand new beaten up head which looks fantastic! Bluto comes with one as well! I think the price set is absolutely perfect for these two awesome looking figures and all the accessories that they come with and the release date is just far enough that I hope some UK e-retailers put these up for pre-order soon!
