My Rating

Rating: 5 out of 5.

“Werewolf By Night – Part 10”

Blood, body, and soul are reunited, but Jack still faces the full might of the demon mother Lilith. It’s a good thing that Werewolf By Night has an extensive friends list. As more and more allies show up at the besieged Darkholder Castle, Lilith reveals Jack Russell’s demonic family tree. More mouths to feed? No…!

Will Jack Russell, Elsa Bloodstone, and Doctor Voodoo survive a full-out assault from the pits of hell? How many descendants of Chthon have been spawned since Gregory Russoff battled the vampire Dracula? Will the Sorcerer Supreme show up to defend his new United Latveria? Collect the series to find out!

Reviewer Notes

This is the final issue of Werewolf By Night: Red Band and I want to thank writer Jason Loo and artist Sergio Dávila for creating this exciting new chapter in the Werewolf By Night mythology. Per the announcement at the back of the book, under the Weremail, another series is being planned. So if you are a fan of Jack Russel, stay tuned.

I really did enjoy this series with all of its twists and turns. The most fun part about it for me was seeing some of the older characters showing up for the limelight. Ka-zar and Doctor Voodoo for example. Even the younger Reptil kid was entertaining. I give this issue five out of five stars. The series as a whole is a very solid four out of five stars and warrants revisiting if not for the art alone.
