Rob Zombie is a divisive figure in the horror space. People either love him or hate him without much middle ground. Both Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) and Otis Driftwood (Bill Moseley) of Firefly Family fame make a cameo appearance in this 2009 offering. Papa, who is best known as a stand-up comedian co-wrote the screenplay for El Superbeasto with Zombie. The pair adapted the script from the graphic novel of the same name.
