Hasbro is going hard with GamerVerse Marvel Legends releases like never before this year, so it seems appropriate that even their San Diego Comic Con 2025 exclusive is video game inspired! Based on the MARVEL SNAP mobile game, the SDCC 2025 exclusive Marvel Legends Savage Land set featuring Sauron, Shanna and Savage Land Rogue figures has been revealed!
I’ve fit to admit: the 2025 San Diego Comic Con has sort of snuck up on me this year. In the past, toy companies would have been hyping their SDCC exclusives months before the event. But here we are, one month away from the show, and the first major announcement of note has arrived from Hasbro.
But don’t think that this year’s Marvel Legends exclusive is an afterthought just because it was announced out of nowhere with little fanfare—this year’s set is actually a pretty great one with a trio of figures we’d be very unlikely to see available at mass retail!

It’s tough to believe it’s been nearly 7 years (plus 4 strokes and 1 global pandemic) since I first reviewed the Sauron BAF in 2018, but the calendar does not lie. I loved that figure then, and I still like it now, even if Hasbro hasn’t updated it much for this re-release.

I’ve heard quite a few complaints about the likeness on this Rogue portrait, but it’s actually a very strong match to the Marvel Snap card that it’s based upon. If it’s not to your taste, I’m pretty confident a head swap from a different recent Rogue figure should fit A-OK!
This iteration of Rogue has lasted the test of time much better than I’d expect, even getting its own solo comic book series this year. I think this is going to be quite an expensive figure once this box set sells out.
For those not attending, will you try to grab one online? I’ll send out alerts via the Marvel Toy News Facebook and Twitter/X page once the sets go up on Hasbro Pulse, so stay tuned to those if you’re shopping from home.
