Netflix has released the first six minutes of Wednesday season 2’s premiere episode, along with a significant casting update. The second season of Netflix’s Addams Family spinoff has been a long time coming, since the series’ freshman season released back in November 2022. Now, Wednesday season 2 is finally almost here, with a scheduled premiere date of September 3, 2025. The upcoming episodes will feature a slew of exciting new characters and thrilling new stories, many of which are teased in Netflix’s sneak peek at the first episode.

The global fan event, Netflix Tudum 2025 (held on May 31, 2025), came with the release of a six-minute clip from the start of Wednesday season 2’s premiere episode. The teaser offers plenty of incentive to rejoin actor Jenna Ortega in Wednesday’s sophomore season, with a glimpse at Wednesday as she hunts down a serial killer.
