“Werewolf By Night – Part 05”

No home and no place to roam! Elsa and Jack have been banished from the Savage Lands after a short stay in Kaz-Zar’s makeshift jungle prison. Now the two are on a forced road trip after Castle Nekromantik was overrun by local law enforcement. While the monster and monster hunter stop for supplies in Richfield, Utah, Jack runs into Doctor Bruce Banner in aisle twelve of the local Hal-Mart. Wait, what?!

Elsewhere, in Transylvania, Deathwatch and the Hood assemble a new team of Chthon Hounds, products spawned from the fleshy chunks cut from the king of werewolves himself, Jack Russell – Werewolf By Night. Will these savage terrors be enough to help capture the beast with a direct bloodline to the Darkhold? Or, will another kind of monster, one created by the power of science, help stop the Darkholders from gaining another pound of flesh? Collect the series to find out!

Jack Russell and Elsa Bloodstone are about to do the Monster Mash, as two worlds collide in Jerkwater, USA! Can an exhausted Bruce Banner, and an uncontrollable Jack Russell, put their differences aside long enough to stop a host of Chthon werewolves from destroying a local big-box store? I don’t know, but this comic book issue redefines awesome-sauce!

Hulks and monster hunters and werewolves, oh, my! Can it get any better? Not in my rating system. This is a five star read any day of the week.
